Guido da Costigliole | Stella Michelin
In the Fifties, Guido and Lidia Alciati invented a new type of restaurant where, long before the slow food phenomenon, each ingredient was carefully selected amongst local producers.
The same tradition continues nowadays at Michelin-starred restaurant Guido da Costigliole, located in the old cellars of the San Maurizio monastery. Here, the original stone vaulted ceilings and walls create a warm and fascinating atmosphere.
In summer months, the outdoor Monterosa terrace offers splendid outlooks over the vineyards all the way to the Alps. These breathtaking views perfectly complement the dishes as the dusk sky slowly turns pink.
